The Comedy Stop

The Comedy Stop opened at the historic Tropicana Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in 1990. With seating capacity for 300, a full bar specializing in frozen cocktail treats and food service, The Comedy Stop is a fun and comfortable place to enjoy the comic styling of the nation's best up-and-coming stand-up performers. A complete variety of jokes and jabs can be expected throughout the performances.

Invented by the ever talented Bob Kephart, the Comedy Stop Las Vegas is the crown jewel in a collection of other Comedy Stop locations around the country. He has a unique knack for finding the best of budding young crop of comical performers. With names like Richard Jeni, Drew Carey, Ray Romano, Rosie O'Donnell and Tim Allen that have graced the stage of his laugh houses, it is easy to see that he knows what he's doing. The young stand up with the funny punch line you see tonight at the Comedy Stop could turn out to being the next sitcom star or late night talk show host of tomorrow.
