Situated in the Excalibur hotel and casino, the Steakhouse at Camelot is a Zagat Award winning restaurant that replicates the days when gallant knights and their fair maidens dined in splendor. Stained glass windows, beautiful woodwork and a cozy lounge complete with fire place and piano player, all add to the elegant yet casual dining experience fit for a king or queen. Chef Frank Sousmaa and his staff deliver their interpretations of classic American cuisine. Signature dishes include garlic-braised escargot with Fontina-tomato fondue and grilled focaccia, Chilean sea bass with wild mushrooms and black truffle sauce, and the mixed grill which includes pork ribs, rotisserie chicken, beef tenderloin and jumbo shrimp chimichurri. If you save room for dessert, some selections include Bavarian chocolate mousse with cabernet sorbet and sautéed sour cherries and a warm bourbon-pecan tart with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
